Ableworld are saddened to hear, the beloved Disability Resource Centre located on the grounds of Glan Clwyd Hospital, is closing. However, please be assured your disability needs will not go ignored as Ableworld Rhyl are here to help!

As a mobility retailer It’s always a sad moment when a service devoted to helping people with disabilities has to close its doors. After 25 years of serving the local community, the North Wales disability resource centre will surely be missed. Many of its loyal customers have counted on their services to keep them mobile in day-to-day life.   

Ableworld can support anyone affected by this closure with two Ableworld stores in close proximity. Both Ableworld Llandudno and Ableworld Rhyl offer many of the same services, meaning people can carry on living an independent life.

Our professionally trained staff, sell, service and repair mobility products such as mobility scooters, powerchairs, riser recliners, even if they weren’t bought directly from us. Ableworld don’t just stop there, we also supply bathroom aids, continence care and everyday kitchen aids.

 A member of staff from any of our Ableworld stores can provide you with an in- store assessment to ensure you go home with the right product. That’s why you won’t see us selling expensive items on our online website, its Ableworld’s belief that every customer must try before they buy!

We can even hire out mobility scooters and wheelchairs for a total of 7 days and provide a stairlift service from quote to installation.

Along with these services we deliver products up to 30 miles from any store, provide free no obligation home demonstrations. Meaning, you get to try a range of our products from the luxury of your own home.

Ableworld Rhyl Host Coffee Morning And Raffle For Dementia UK

Our Ableworld Rhyl team have been extra busy at work this festive season, ensuring each one of their customers can lead better, more independent lives. With each happy customer leaving the doors of Rhyl store, the team welcome in more new and familiar faces with open arms. Christmas is the time of giving and what better way to thank our Ableworld Rhyl customers than with a Winter coffee morning and raffle.

Two lucky customers were drawn from our store raffle on Tuesday 14th November and those customers were Jen and Mrs Kirkshaw, both customers were delighted to have won their hampers. We hope you both enjoy every festive treat and have a fantastic Christmas! All monies raised in the raffle were donated to Dementia UK, and Ableworld Rhyl raised an amazing £83.10.

Dementia UK is charity very close to the hearts of the Ableworld team, who help people and their families all over the UK suffering from the effects of the debilitating disease. Dementia is a complex condition and is very unique to each person, so knowing there is specialist support and expect advice which can offered can give families the little bit of help they desire in their hour of need.

Ableworld Rhyl Customer Wins Back The Cost Of Her Adjustable Bed

Congratulations to Mrs Gillott from Rhyl who is one of our most recent win back the cost of your Adjustable bed winners. Mrs Gillott won back the total cost of her Calverley Adjustable Bed at £549, which she purchased from Ableworld Rhyl store on the first day of our spring promotion back in April. Ableworld Rhyl was delighted to let their customer know she had won and said ‘’When I rang Mrs Gillott up she was extremely happy, and couldn’t believe her luck.’’ All customers who purchased a new adjustable bed within the competition period are put into a draw to win back the cost of their purchase and 3 winners are randomly selected.

From the 4th April to the 3rd July 2023, Ableworld gave its customers a chance to win back the cost of their new Adjustable Bed. You have to be in it to win it, customers must have purchased a new adjustable bed from any one of our 39 Ableworld stores, to be automatically entered into the FREE competition. In July, three lucky winners were drawn meaning Ableworld was able gave back an amazing £1947 to their customers in one month alone!
